Holly, we are not a naturopathic office but we are extremely familiar with healing the gut of children. Our office is Radiant Life Chiropractic. We're happy to lead you through this process if you like.

Jennifer W. replied:
Mo Horner or Nicholas Schnell at Four Winds Natural Healing. They work miracles.
Steve W. replied:
Dr. Shawn Schmidt I second that. Omaha midtown Dr. Ingram ENT Doc in Omaha West is also quite intelligent. Also Four Winds w/ Nick Schnell Depends on what symptoms your wanting to conquer.

I highly recommend Shawn Schmidt at the Natural Health Center as well! He's helped me with my Fibromyalgia and my son's ear infections!
Kristin H. replied:
Dr. Sean Schmidt at Natural Health Center. It's near Children's hospital. He's also a chiropractor. They use bio-meridian testing to see what's going on in the body. Cured my son's psoriasis. He's also on the radio on Saturdays. They do have a website.

Dr Patricia Ryan!!! She used to have her own office but recently moved in with Whole Health. I haven't used her since her move. I had a lot of symptoms going on that my regular doctor couldn't figure out. She diagnosed my gluten intolerance and greatly improved my overall health with her dietitians' recommendations.
Sondra T. replied:
I highly recommend Mo Horner at Four Winds Natural Healing Center. I had an overactive thyroid a couple years ago after having our first child and she helped get to the root of the issue by giving me herbal tinctures to take. After about 6 weeks of taking them, my body was back to normal and I wasn't having my awful symptoms anymore:). Good luck to you!

Omaha P. replied:
Dr Lisa Whitcomb is a naturally-minded pediatrician. Lots of the chiropractors on our website's resource list are great too. Naturopaths licenses aren't recognized in Nebraska so we do not technically have any here. We also have a great herbalist, Kate Bodmann at Land of Milk and Honey Herbs. ~Katie

Amy B. replied:
I went to Dr Ryan to get my hormones in balance and saw her for a few other things. I highly recommend her! She knows her stuff! You will be amazed at the wonderful services she offers. She is on the pricey side but I submitted my receipts to my insurance company and would get some reimbursement. Good luck!
Jennifer W. replied:
I have seen her. She's much more holistic than your average western doctor. You might get better help from Nicholas or Mo at Four Winds. Mo was able to help me a lot with my autoimmune disease. I also dramatically changed my diet to the autoimmune paleo protocol. It helped a TON.
Erika asks, "Looking for a provider that will prescribe nature thyroid or something similar. Prefer a provider that accepts insurance, ours does not cover naturopaths."

Omaha P. replied:
Naturopath licenses are not recognized in Nebraska, so the closet you will get is with a chiropractor or herbalist. Aligned Health and Wellness, PC, Meylor Family Chiropractic, Millard Wellness Center * Chiropractic-Massage-Acupuncture, Infinite Health Chiropractic are all in West Omaha. For Herbalists check out Land of Milk and Honey Herbs. ~Katie
