New Image Dentistry by JcPenney sees toddlers and they are very good and gentle with me so I'm sure they are excellent with kids. When my daughter is old enough that is where she will go.

I worked in the dental field. It's similar to the medical field. Would you take your child to a general/family doctor? I personally wouldn't take my baby/child to a general/family doctor. I prefer a pediatrician that has the training and specializes in children. The same goes for dentistry. While there are amazing general/family dentists, I personally prefer and recommend a pediatric dentist. I however don't know about the one here in town. I had a friend who had problems with Children's Dentistry in CB so I have stayed away. I've gone to the dentists at New Image since I was a young child. My kids (5 and 7) go there as well. They are amazing with kids. Mine go back all on their own and have since their first visits. They don't even want me to come with them. I, now, just schedule all 3 of us at the same time so we are in and out pretty quick.

Mindy Dickinson at midwest eye care is amazing!! My son has seen her since 18 months every time he does wonderful with her. She takes lots of time to explain things to you as well!

I second Mindy Dickinson at Midwest Eye Care. I took my daughter to her for a while and then she referred us to Dr. Robert Troia in Omaha. He is amazing!

I second New Image. My 22 month old has seen them 2 or 3 times & they have done great with him. He isn't scared of the dentist like I was as a kid.:)

At new image dentistry there is Dr. McArdle he's kind of an older guy. Dr Dudzinski, he's probably I don't know maybe,50 and then his son is just started practicing with him. They even have Lil TV to watch while in the chair.

I'm in Columbus and Schuyler lol, Dr. Toelle is good, Wolfe eyecare is very good too, Kyle Cheatem was a classmate of mine at Heartland Eye, if you need a md for surgical consults I can give a name of few of them as well

Dr. Weiss is who I see at Millard eye care. Off of 130 th and Q area. I really like her. Amanda Sackett, your cousin was not covered from my insurance because I was going to go there.

I've seen Dr. Hottman at Midwest Eye Care since I was in high school for my eye problems... He has a couple of offices, and the main one is off of 42 nd & Dodge.

Aksarben Eye Care if you live near Aksarben is awesome and super kid friendly. Dr. Dozon is the doc there.

Dr. Trioa is fantastic! Although he only practices pediatrics.

Bellevue Optical off Galvin is great with kids and they take medicaid.

Brumm Eye- first one at Immanuel Med Bldg. and the other on West Center and 174 takes Medicaid. Dr. Cleaver works well with kids and special needs children

Dr. Langford at Omaha Primary Eye Care is amazing with kids. My 1 year old who is a momma's boy and scared of strangers warmed right up to him.

Troia is nice, but it's months to get in and they generally do specialized care. We went for a few years for my now 8 yo and were discharged after things didn't get worse. I took the kids to see Abigail Johnson this summer at Midwest Eye Care and they all really liked her, as did I. Her office lady was a bit crabby once, but otherwise I liked her a lot. ~Jenn P.

I took my daughter to Dr Sebastian Troia! Amazing guy! He explains everything and gets parents involved!

We foster too. Shopko does a fine job and they accept the insurance. Or, UNMC clinics. All the hospital clinics accept Medicaid.

Robert Troia did my youngest's tear duct surgery a couple of weeks ago and we couldn't have asked for a better doctor. There's a reason he's popular!:) Yes, the wait time can be long, but especially if your child needs his/her eyes dilated, you'd be waiting for awhile anywhere you go.

Dr. Richard Legge is excellent. His office is located on 78 th & Davenport, just a few blocks from Children's.

I would recommend Dr. Legge as well. He was able to figure out why my son kept having horrible headaches. He fills up fast, so book appointments early.

Dr Troia for big issues. He's done eye surgery on two of my kids. He is very, very good with children. Some people are, and he is on of those people. He is worth any wait as their office if very busy ~Aron

I have congenital glaucoma and see Dr. Martin Mizener. While he is not specifically a pediatric specialist, he will see children. He came and saw our son when he was born in the hospital, and has seen him in the office. He is really great. He's with Midwest Eye Care, and they have an office out West on 138 th-ish and Dodge, and one around 42 nd-ish and Dodge.

My daughter sees Dr. Troia 402-399-9400. There are two dr.'s in the office they are brothers and we saw Sebastian!

I agree with everyone else. Dr. Robert Troia is who we see. It takes forever to get in and you have to sit in there office 1-2 hours past appointment time. But we've had 2 eye surgeries done and never had any complications.

My aunt is a pediatrician in Omaha and she sent my sister to Dr. Troia. Nat said he was really good with Peyton.

I loved going to Dr Barry Jose for eyes but he isn't covered by my insurance....he is located in CB and I think he has an office in Bellevue too...

Tell them you have vsp insurance when you go. But you have to go to a vsp provider. Go to Vsp.com and it will walk you through everything. You can look up whats covered and you can see what you have as insurance for it. If you need some help text me. I have been on the site alot.

Children's hospital optometry clinic. Dr Brown is fantastic. My kids love her. She even did an exam on my then-10 month old.

I really like Advanced Family Eye Care. They are really nice there, and no pressure to buy glasses there.
