Children's Physicians Dr John Andresen has been the best for us! He went to bat for us we wanted genetic testing done for our son, do to the fact on my husband side he had two sister die from Karbbe and we wanted to make sure he didn't or to see if he was a carrier of it, but apparently we as parents are not allowed to have that done according to the geneticist at children's hospital because it would violate my sons rights, because might not want know he has or is a carrier. But in the end he made it happen and we got the testing done which took a lot of worry off our shoulders. He always been great with both of our children!

Wanted to see if there is somewhere I can go for my prenatal care but have no insurance & do not qualify for Medicaid? I would love to go to a midwife,...

Dr. Finley in Bellevue has been really great as we figure out our insurance situation with my current pregnancy. I'm planning a VBA2C so I can't go to a birth center/midwife like I'd prefer.

Anon says: Our family makes about $50,000 a year & we will be a family of 5 now. Our insurance is outrageous which is why we don't have any. We have been looking into private insurance, but now they won't cover the pregnancy. Thank you for all the suggestions. This has helped tremendously. ~Jenn P.

I am a stay-at-home mom and on my third pregnancy. We don't have insurance, and we were turned down by the state for benefits. I see Dr. Fleming with Alegent-Creighton healthcare. They offer financial assistance and, even though we are paying out of pocket, it has been very reasonable.

Try One World or Methodist had an office ran by a midwife specifically for underinsured mamas. I'll see if I can find the link. ~Jenn P.

Dr. Lewis did his job perfectly; the oral surgeon said it will now be a wait and see game.. still can't eat on that side for a couple of weeks and no gym, bending over, any of that stuff that does't really bother me..... Except for Easter dinner... It will be a challange for me, I love all the food, Ham, potatoes, pies, cakes etc.........
