Just had to do this on the 9th. Needed euthanasia to be performed that day.
Started calling around 1pm.
Called Vet To Pet first. They got back to me but we're unable to come that day.
Called Homeward Bound, left a message, never heard back.
Called Rover, and she got back to me quickly, but was unable to arrive until 7:30 pm.
She arrived promptly, and was very accommodating, she was professional and it went smoothly. I would recommend Rover.
The vet at Vet To Pet was very nice when I called her about 6 months ago, when we thought we were close to the end. But it seems she works better when an appointment can be scheduled, instead of last minute like I needed a few weeks ago.

Try Shadow Hills animal hospital, they are incredible. Sorry to hear about your buddy, it's always terrible to lose a furry friend.

We've used many vets in Reno-Sparks over many years for large dogs. Our favorite is Dawn Hess at Sage Veterinary Care. She used to be at Community Animal Hospital before it closed. http://www.sagevetcare.com/
